Carl announced that Dennis had been taken ill and flown home. He didn't play the remaining two dates. Who did drum for the band is a good question. |
2
| One of the gigs arranged as a result of Carl's draft problems. |
3
|
Billy Hinsche subbed for Mike at this show: he'd returned to India to see the Maharishi again, and had trouble getting back in time. |
4
|
Arranged by UK DJ Jimmy Saville, the band turned up with three acoustic guitars, a tambourine and a pair of drumsticks, thus giving one of the very first ever 'unplugged' gigs. Footage of this unique show was later shown on Top Of The Pops |
5
|
The band dropped out due to the very tight travelling time from the previous show. Four other acts also dropped out due to various reasons: Dave Dee... etc, Chicken Shack, The Tremeloes and Procul Harum. |
6
|
This was just one track for a completed album - A World Of Peace Must Come - that Brian produced for Steve Kalinich around this time. It's possible - but not proven - that the 'untitled' sessions on 10/28 and 11/3 were also for this project. |
7
|
The 'legendary' Thanksgiving show where about 200 fans showed up. According to Fred Vail, some of the shows on this tour were cancelled. |
8
|
These shows were cancelled because Mike had a court appearence on the morning of the 2nd in connection with his divorce proceedings. The gigs were tentatively rescheduled for 1970, but never happened. |
9
|
Syndicated TV show, taped in Cincinnati November 25th or 26th. It's possible the band debuted "Slip On Through". |

As more sessions are held at Brian's home studio, the documentation becomes more lax: while most of these dates are accurate, to be frank, some of those noted ?? are little more than semi-educated guesses. |
